On to the challenge!

Welcome, welcome, WELCOME to our 26th challenge here at Woodware USA! We all know that love is in the air, and we have lots of weddings and anniversaries coming in the next few months. As a June bride myself, I know that everyone wants to get married NOW!! So, let's tap into our "love"ly creative genes and make some wedding and/or anniversary cards. If you would like to join us, just follow these simple rules:

1. Provide a direct link to your NEW creation (any backdated ones will be removed) using In-Linkz.com.
2. Only two entries per week per participant.
3. You will receive one entry in our monthly drawing per creation. If you use a Woodware USA image, you will receive an extra entry. So, that means up to 4 entries instead of just 2!
4. BONUS: If you would like to be considered for a guest designer position, please put an asterisk (*) next to your name. You DO NOT need to use a Woodware USA image to be considered, but we always appreciate seeing them!

Challenge #10 - A Stitch of a Card!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Here's the final sample of the week for the Faux Stitching challenge!  I used "Flower Frames" and "All Through the Year" sets for this card.

I stamped the vine-y frame image from the Flower Frames set but didn't ink up the little flower that's located on the lower right of that frame to leave extra room for my sentiment.  I added Primas over the flowers that were part of the frame image and embellished with some faux pearls.

I then stamped the "Birthday Wishes" sentiment from "All Through the Year" inside the frame onto green DP from Basic Grey Capella paper pad.

I off-set another piece of BG Capella DP to the lower left side of the card and used my Signo Uniball white ink pen to add the faux stitching around it.

Next I created a little loop from coordinating papers and attached it with with a white brad.

This card is sized to fit a 3-5/8" x 6-1/2" envelope -- I picked up a box of them from a local office supply store and found them to be a really fun size to use!
