The Woodware team this week is mechanical cards, the girls are all interpreting this in there own way here is mine...
11
I have made a card that folds so they way that you fold a box when you have no tape...
10
I have done this one in 2 colours to show you how the card goes. I made this as a birthday card a couple of years ago, but of course I didn't take a photograph.
2
For this one I have used a sheet of 12 x 12 card in white and cut it in half, then I scored 3 inches in from each end.
1
I have used the Dreamweaver Holly Swirls stencil, I put it on wonky as it is not big enough to cover the whole card, then I put it on the other way to cover the whole panel.
3
I inked with the ColorBox  Gypsy pad ant then highlighted the berries with a red Sakura Glaze pen
5
I have used a red sheet from the Glamour Textura 6 x 6 card pad, the stamps are from the Woodware Aspects of Design range the Celtic Tree, the words come from the Celtic Circle and Holly.
7
The holly comes from the same set as the greeting, I cut two squares 2 and3/4 inches for the holly.
6
and 2 and 1/2 for the text squares.
9
I have added Glossy Accents to the Holly
Then tick your corners in to fold it up. I like this card quite simple really, but I think that it is quite fun!

Woodware Sketch

Here is a sketch that the Woodware team are using in the UK this week
43-June_2015
this sketch has been drawn by Jane the Flower Girl, and here is her card.
Jane
Jane has used her 2 sneakers stamps the background one has been stamped a then cut to make the curved shape.
Jane1
The large pair of sneakers have been stamped on shrink plastic then coloured and shrunk. Remember to punch your hole before you shrink your sneakers, the hole will shrink too. Jane has tied some of the black and white twine through the hole.
The Happy Birthday is one of the Woodware Just Words stamps, Jane has curved the words on the acrylic block to match the curve of the panel on the card.
a great use of the sketch from Jane, and a great card for a young or young at heart birthday card from our Flower Girl.

Shadow Box

Today our shadow box is by Francoise
Francoise
Francoise has used Clear Magic stamps from her last release they are Make Time and You Make Me Happy. The images have been coloured with the new Sakura Koi Brush Pens and the blender pen.
Francoise1
To make the shadow box Francoise has raised the layer of the stamped images to different heights.
Francoise2
The flower is from the very useful Multi Flower Punch these multi punches are great for giving value for money.
The white faux stitching, done with a white gelly roll pen is a great finishing touch to the framed image.

Boys and Their Toys

Today we have a man's card from Francoise.
Francoise
Francoise has used her Huge Golf  Clear Magic Stamp.
Francoise1
I love the way the Francoise has water coloured the image, Francoise always has exceptionally good colouring, but this week is amazing. The background looks like an average UK summer sky! and the way that the club really looks like metal.
All of the extra words from the set make the card a fun read, and the texture on the Card Candi is just like a fancy colourd golf ball!

A lovely card for any golfing fan.

Woodware's - Mr & Mrs Cat

Today we have a card from Jane the Flower Girl,
Jane has used her Clear Magic stamp Mr & Mrs Cat.
Jane  has stamped the image and then outlined it with the Black Glaze pen to make it stand out. The stamp is an open stamp and Jane has hand drawn the flowers. Jane has used three colours of Sakura Glaze Pen
The greeting is from Jane's Everyday Verse Clear Magic set and is a lovely sentiment that you could use not just on lovey-dovey cards.

To a Special Couple

On the Woodware blog this week we are looking at silver wedding celebrations and here is my take on it.
8
I have used silver mirror card, which is rather difficult to photograph so I would like to start by saying sorry for the bad photography. I have made an easel card as I think that they always seem rather special.

All of the pattern stamping has been done the background stamps from the Stampendous Cling Rubber Regal Bird stamps this is a great stamp set.

I have stamped the small metal heart with the same stamp, I have used black ClearSnap Surfacez Ink on the metal, well I have used Surfacez for all of the stamping.

5
I have used the Just Words Special Couple stamp for the greeting.

I have used the Mirror Card and some ribbon  white 7mm and silver 15mm organza.
7
Remember to use some foam pads to raise the card on the base so that it holds the top portion.
