Merry and Bright Christmas

I love this card, this gem Christmas tree is rather fun I think I will make more of them
14
I have used the Mark Richard Mosaics
8
The Mosaics are pearly little square. First I made my tree pattern so I knew how big it would be.
15
Because I had laid out my tree I was able to start by ripping the card and then building my pot with Mosaics.
11
I used Elements as my decorations for my tree.
12
I have edged the card with Jungle Crafters ink from ClearSnap.
13
I think that the Merry and Bright words from Jane's Clear Magic Snowflake Flower are perfect for my tree.
9
I have folded and A4 card in half and randomly stamped Jane's Music Notes I have used ColorBox Raisin Pigment ink.
10
I added some Burlap Ribbon.
14
To finish off the card.

A Girl Can Never Have too Many Shoes

Today we have a card from Jane the Flower Girl
Jane
This is a card that Jane made for the latest Woodware catalogue with one of her new Clear Magic stamps Glamour Shoes.
Jane1
Jane has decorated her shoes with a huge range of Self Adhesive Gems I like the mixture of shapes and sizes of Crystals. Jane has also added Pearls in various sizes, the Clusters are great for this. I like the way that Jane has attached the shoes so that they are slightly above the card, she has also cut away the red card at the top of the card to show off the patterned paper that is on the inside.
Jane2
Across the card Jane has used the Antique Floral Cassette in her Crafty Edger.
A great use of Gems from Jane the Flower Girl.

Musical Black and White

Jane the Flower Girl has gone very musical this week for her black and white card.
Jane
Jane has used her Clear Magic stamps Music Notes and Sheet Music on this card. The small notes are from the Music Peel Offs.
Jane1
You can see from the close up that Jane has used grey in for the sheet music and black for the notes from the Music Note set of stamps. The topper has been made from the Clear Scraps Music Acrylic Border which Jane has carefully embossed with the Stampendous Aged Black Powder. The Acrylic Borders can be shaped when heated, but Jane has just heated it while it is flat on a Hot Stuff Mat, just leave it in place until it cools.
Jane2
To make a wrap for the card Jane has used the Scalloped Shoulder Tag Top Punch, the ribbon is a great touch.

Jane3
The little tag has been made from Shrink Plastic Jane has stamped it with one of the greetings from her Hand Drawn Sentiments.
Don't forget to punch the hole in your shrink plastic BEFORE you shrink it!
I love this card from Jane the Flower Girl, perfect for a music lovers birthday.

Black and White Sausage Dog

I love black and white, this is a very quick card today, even by my standards!
1
I have used Sausage Dog the Clear Magic stamp from the Francoise Collection. He is simply black on white and cut around.
2
The card is white DL size, I have cut some black card and used the Woodware inverted corner punch and then tied some of the black Fancy Twine around the card.
3
I have added the Mark Richard Elements in black to the corners.
4
the greeting is from the same stamp set.
A very simple card that I think would be good for any dog lover.

Last this week we have a project from Crafty Debs
Debs
Crafty Debs has made a wonderful mixed media canvas. Using a mixture of stamps, masks, die cuts and Chippies Debs has created a real work of art.
Debs3
First Debs used white gesso over the canvas, and after it was dry she attached her chippies with pva glue. The Chippies that Debs has used are the Hearts and Flourishes and the Paisleys.
debs1
The Bloom is one of the ColorBox range of Art Screens. Debs has used Black Gesso through it.
Debs2
Debs has done her stamping on tissue paper and then ripped around the images, the Love Collage from the Francoise Collection. Debs has done the Dotty Alphabet in the same way.
Debs has used the Dutch Doobadoo Mask Art Geometric Tile and Wavy Stripes.  The inks that Debs has used and the Stone and Night from the ColorBox Crafter's range.
The leaves are a Dreamweaver Die Leafy Branch.
Crafty Debs has much more detail on her blog for this fantastic mixed media project, so pop over for a look.

Black and White Bubbles

I love black and white cards, they can look very elegant and are great for Christmas too.
Kim has used a Bubble Bloom designed by Jane.
This is Bubble Bloom Linda Kim has stamped and embossed the main image in black on a circle of white card.
The bubbles have been coloured with Sakura Glaze Pens in Black and White. With a touch of sparkle from the Sakura Silver Stardust Pen.
The background has been created with the same stamp and coloured in the same way. Kim has added some extra tiny bubbles too.

The happy greeting is very clever, it has been stamped and cut from one of Jane's new Christmas greetings. This one is Hand Drawn Christmas, and a very useful Christmas stamp it is too. Kim has added some black ribbon under the greeting.
If you hop over to Kim's blog you will see a second take on this great elegant card from Kim.

Black and White Christmas

I think that this stamp of Jane's is perfect for black and white, or red and white or any other colour you fancy really!
10
Meet Little Christmas Bird a Clear Magic stamp designed by Jane Gill.
6
I have stamped and embossed with the Stampendous Winter Wonderland powder, it is a lovely white powder with silver glitter in it. I have stamped on the black Textura card which you can see on this solid stamp, then punched him out.
4
For the background I have used the new Holly Scrolls metal stencil designed by Fran of Stampendous, I have pressure embossed with my Sizzix machine on black and white Textura card.
8
I have added Winer Wonderland embossing powder to the black, and punched the corners with the Woodware inverted corner punch. The ribbon is the black gingham
5
for the greeting which come with the Little Bird set I have embossed the white circle.
7
I like the way that I have layered it with the ribbon, the same as the background.
9
The gingham bow adds a finishing touch.

Snowflake Flower Sketch

What about this take on the sketch
16
here is a reminder of the sketch
53
I rather like this one.
6
The main image is a Clear Magic stamp designed by Jane Gill Snowflake Flower. I have stamped with a Watermark Pad and embossed with silver powder. I made the card by folding an A4 sheet in half and the cutting it into a square, o it is slightly smaller than 6 x 6. I Often make my square card this way and I had the spare for my extra bits of stamping.
7
Then I stamped around the card with dye ink I have used the Sky ink from the ColorBox range for Stephanie Barnard.
13
then I inked around the edge with the same ink pad and a stencil brush. I have hight lighted the centre of some of the snowflakes with the White Pearl from the Dutch Doobadoo Pearl Pen range, these pens are so easy to use the impress me everytime!
8
The Happy Christmas and the other stamps come from the Francoise Collection Santa Post Elements.
11
sorry this is a bit blurred. The paper is from one of the Perfect Prints 6 x 6 pads. For the darker stamping I have used my Crafters ink in Wave.
9
If you have good eye sight you will be able to read Francoise's words about Christmas, I think that she has thought of everything!
14
I have if course used my Tag Top punch this is the scalloped shoulders. The 15mm organza ribbon is the white with silver dots.
15
then add the circle greeting.

53
The holly on the top has been die cut from the Winter Tweets dies designed by Stampendous.

Another Sketch Idea

Today we have Kim's take on the sketch

Here is a reminder of the sketch
53
Kim has used Jane's Clear Magic Calendula Bloom.

Kim has stamped in brown and embossed with clear powder, on the wonderful Woodware Mixed Media Card. Kim has then inked the background and the flowers with dye ink and a piece of cut 'n' dry
the greeting comes from the same stamp set. Kim has then stamped the flower again and dye cut the circle and a larger circle from brown card.
I love the way that Kim has got the watery background on the card, and the vellum strip that she has added to the card.
Why not pop over to see what Kim has to say about her card?
