Challenge #10 - A Stitch of a Card!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Here's the final sample of the week for the Faux Stitching challenge!  I used "Flower Frames" and "All Through the Year" sets for this card.

I stamped the vine-y frame image from the Flower Frames set but didn't ink up the little flower that's located on the lower right of that frame to leave extra room for my sentiment.  I added Primas over the flowers that were part of the frame image and embellished with some faux pearls.

I then stamped the "Birthday Wishes" sentiment from "All Through the Year" inside the frame onto green DP from Basic Grey Capella paper pad.

I off-set another piece of BG Capella DP to the lower left side of the card and used my Signo Uniball white ink pen to add the faux stitching around it.

Next I created a little loop from coordinating papers and attached it with with a white brad.

This card is sized to fit a 3-5/8" x 6-1/2" envelope -- I picked up a box of them from a local office supply store and found them to be a really fun size to use!
