Paper Pieced Fairy

This week's challenge is Paper Piecing. I really like Paper Piecing, but I Rarely remember to do it. I paper pieced the little Fairy's vest and pants, then fussy cut the whole thing out and added it to the main panel. I really like the Fall feel of this, even without the standard Orange and deep reds I still feel very Fallish looking at this. :)

Don't forget to look at the other Design Team member's Paper Pieced creations! If you would like to play along with us you can link your creation to THIS post. (Woodware stamps are not required, but if you have them we would Love to see them!)

Supplies:
Stamps: Fairy Tots (Woodware USA)
Paper: Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg & Early Bird, Kraft, Spring Moss, Felt
Ink: Memento Black & Rich Cocoa, Copics
Misc: Felt, Scallop Die, Crystal Stickles, Vintage Button

As Easy as 1, 2, 3

Haven't all the wonderful 1, 2, 3 Recipe Challenge cards been amazing this week???

I sat down to play with the 1 Ribbon, 2 Circles and 3 Flowers idea and tossed a bunch of thoughts around, but in the end I settled on a pretty simple idea. The 3 flowers are in the scene I created (all stamps are from the Fairy Tots set,) the 2 circles are the brads I used to make the buttons on her vest and of course, the ribbon is self explanatory. :)

Supplies:
Stamps: Fairy Tots
Paper: Kraft & White CS (PTI,) Textured CS (DCWV,)
Ink: Copic Markers, Memento Black, Soft Sky
Misc: Stickles, Ribbon, Glue Dots, Glitter Brads

If you want to play along make sure to link your project HERE!

Anything Goes...

This week's challenge is Anything Goes, you've seen some of the super fun stuff that the other DT members have done when given free rein. Now it's my turn!

I just got Fairy Tots in the mail last week...you saw my little Fairy Dust Candy Box...I just Had to play with it again for this challenge!

I love the little guy's pet caterpillar and his adorable little mushroom hat. The image made me think of Cosmo Cricket's Earth Love, so pulled out my 6x6 pad and was excited to see I still had a sheet of the mushroom paper left!

Here is what I came up with...
Come back tomorrow for more "Anything Goes" creations and if you would like to play along just create something with Woodware USA stamps and link it up to THIS POST.

Fairy Dust for School...

This week's Challenge is to make a Back to School project that is Anything But a Card...I ordered School Tots, but not in time to play with them for this project (I am a Master Procrastinator. ;)

I decided to make a little Chocolate filled gift for a friend that is starting College classes...who doesn't need chocolate for class?
I used Fairy Tots and decorated a DieCuts & More Circle Window Square Box...it is so easy, it is all cut out, scored and the window is done...all I did was stamp the butterflies and add the acetate! The stamped image didn't show up well against the bright colored candy, so I added a little Polka Dot Embossed circle of white paper behind it, letting a little of the acetate still show so the candy peeks out...
Here is a peek at the fun Bright Sixlets inside...
And a close up of the details...
Supplies:
Stamps: Fairy Tots (Woodware USA)
Paper: Die Cut Box, Acetate, White CS
Ink: Staz-On, Copic Markers, White Pigment Ink
Misc: Grosgrain Ribbon, Zva Felt Flower, Imaginisce Glitter Brad, Imaginisce Flower, Gem Brad

Come back tomorrow for more Anything but a Card projects!!
