Woodware USA Challenge #30 - Masculine Cards

Welcome to our 30th challenge here at Woodware USA!! We are so happy to see you playing along with us this week! Our challenge is to make a masculine card...we often forget to make cards for the men in our lives, so here is your chance to build your stash!

We would like to wish a fond farewell to our amazing May Guest Designer -- Diane! She was such a good sport playing along with us this past month, and we were so privileged to have her be a part of our group! Thank you, Diane -- don't be a stranger!

June brings us a new guest designer, and I'm excited to have Danni Bindel playing along with us this month! You may know her from challenge blog -- Flutter By Wednesday. Halloween Colors

This week's challenge is to use Halloween Colors. I don't have any Halloween stamps, but that didn't stop me from using Halloween Colors! I grabbed my Birthday Fun set and my Mixed Greetings set and made a Clean and Simple Birthday card in Orange, Green and Purple. :)

I stamped the balloon and the sentiment on the card, then stamped the balloon again on a piece of Cream cardstock, after I colored the balloon with my Copic Markers I cut it out and glued it over the balloon on the printed card.

I added Crystal Effects to the balloon to make it really shine...

Challenge #2, Favorite Technique...

This week's challenge is to use your favorite technique...If I have a technique in stamping it would be Coloring with Copics...is that a technique? I always think of Batiking or Bleach Stamping or Heat Embossing as a Technique...but I don't do those things, so I guess coloring is the best I've got! ;)

I used the Birthday Fun set and made a yummy bowl of delicious Pistachio, Strawberry and Chocolate Ice Cream! Mmmmm, summer time treat!

Red, Turquoise and Kraft...

Hi, it's me Rachel Hope! It's Thursday and that means it's my turn to post my very first Woodware USA Challenge card! The challenge (as you have seen all week) is Red, Turquoise and Kraft. I just recently received some of the new Papertrey Ink Beautiful Blooms paper and thought it would be perfect!

The Cake is part of the Birthday Fun set and I colored it with Copics and for the red icing I used Koh-i-noor pencils & Gamsol. I like the lighter feel of the pencils for red. The confetti in the background and sentiment are both from the Cocktails set.
