Bubble Bloom

Bubble Bloom in Black from Crafty Debs
Debs
This card is so striking with the circle stamps that Debs has made from Cling-Too, the foam that you use to mount un-mounted rubber stamps. debs has stamped with Colorbox dye inks
Debs1
I think it is clever the way that Debs has made Jane's Clear Magic Clarissa Bubble Bloom look as if it is a solid stamp. Debs has stamped in black and the coloured in with a Sakura black brush pen. The black Stickles is a perfect finishing touch for Clarissa.
Crafty Debs has another post with colour blocking samples on her blog you will find the older post here and today's post is here where you will get card sizes etc.

Snowflake Flower for a Birthday?

Kim today
Kim has used the new Snowflake Flower Clear Magic stamp designed by Jane Gill. I love the way that Kim has stamped on her blocks of colour and it is great that Kim has used it as a birthday card.

I stamped and embossed the flower onto three diferent coloured pieces of card stock
Kim has stamped and embossed the flower onto three diferent colours of card then used Sakura Gelly Roll glaze pens and a touch of Champagne Stickles.
Kim has then cut the panels so that they are all the same size and mounted them on white card.
The wording comes from the Daisy Panel Stylised Flower Clear Magic set by Jane.
Kim has of course made up more cards with the extra bits which you will see on her blog

Goal!

Today we have a card from Jane the Flower Girl
Jane
Jane says that she has been inspired by 60's fashion, it is strange how or minds work and where they take us!
Jane has used one of her new stamps.
JGS477_Footbball_Boots
The stamp is JGS477 Football Boot Set.  Yes you spotted it Jane's ball is very close in size to her boot.
Jane1
The words are from the same set.
Jane2
Jane has used Shrink Plastic for her boot. It has been stamped on white shrink plastic and then coloured with Sakura Colouring Pencils.
Now if I was making this card I would have just cut some coloured card and tried to get it stuck on straight, but Jane has done it properly!

Yes I know it is soccer in the US!

Colour Block with a touch of tartan

Easel cards always impress and are so simple!
1
I have sort of cheated and not used single colours but I thought that my 8 x 8 Contemporary Tartan Pad would be perfect for this.
8
The idea I got from a tutorial on Split Coast Stampers called star burst background if you follow the link you will find the tutorial. Cut strips of the card or paper that you want to use mine ranged between 1 and 2 inches. then cut them in half on the diagonal. The ends get trimmed and hidden so they do not have to be perfect. I have used black card to stick my tartan strips to, leave spaces between the strips, and then trim the card so that it doesn't have a black border. I then layered it on white and black card. I have used the 12 x 12 Textura Card.
4
I wanted something pearly so I have used a card cut from the Stampendous Fitted Frames and embossed it all over with Stampendous Ice Blue Pearl Embossing Powder and then stamped the words
5
and embossed with Wild Plum powder. The stamp is one from the Francoise Collection You Are Clear Magic stamp.
9
I love the way that the front has turned out.
I have used my Brilliant Bowmaker with my black twine.
7
I have made to multi bows that are the same size, don't think I could manage that with out this handy little tool.
3
The Happy Birthday is a Woodware Just Words stamp I have edges the layers with the same 2 embossing powders.
2
I have made it an easel card, I love this they look so effective with out very much work! and here is the inside.

Cluster of Houses

For my card I have used the Clear Magic Three Houses designed by Jane Gill
3
yes it is just 3 houses, but I go a bit carried away. The card is 12 x 6 inches I used the black and white Textura Card.
2
I have paper pieced the houses with papers from the Perfect Prints 6 x 6 pad Lavender Mist.
9
then I fussy cut the houses, and inked the edges with a Blue Dye ink and a stencil brush.
7
don't they look pretty?
8
then I inked the white layer and scuffed the edges with the Woodware scuffer.
11
then got  the sewing machine out and stitched it with wobbly stitches. On my machine I can vary the length of the stitch as a sew and it is fun to do that , and to make the lines wobble.
6
then I added the houses to the card
5
I attached them from either end so that the pale one in the middle stands out.

Floral Bunting

Who says bunting has to be flag shaped?

19
I have made some girlie bunting, but I have used Chippies for my bunting, I think that this would be good for a 21st birthday.
9
I have used the Handbag Chippies and stamped them with Jane's Clear Magic Ranunculus then water coloured them with inks.
8
These two have been stamped with the Stampendous Perfectly Clear Fronds set.
1
The 21 is the number chippies and I have
4
Coloured them with Mixed Media pigment ink in Wisteria and then Frantaged them with a mix of Chunky White powder and a selection of bits from my mix jar, with extra shaved ice!
3
I stamped the Ranunculus on card die cut with the Stampendous fitted frame dies. then coloured with the wisteria pad.
5
once I had finished I decided that the background had to be darker so that the numbers stood out so I coloured it all with a stencil brush.
21
I think that it looks effective layered on the green card.
8
I have edged all of the handbags with green ink.
22
The hardest part of the project was getting the ribbon to be the same length between the bags!
20
I have used a touch of double sided tape and jump ring I also knotted the ribbon so that it would not go through the jump ring.
