Being Unique

We have a great card from Crafty Debs, Debs has created it by making two 6 x 6 cards and trimming and attaching them together.

Crafty Debs has used the Clear Magic Dotty Flower stamp designed by Jane Gill. Debs has stamped on the 6 x 6 Perfect Prints pad Standstorm. The Silhouette Butterflies have been punched in the patterned paper and from green card and layered together. Debs has decorated the body of the butterflies with Citron Elements.

The words inside come from  You Are some great word stamps from the Francoise Collection. Can you see the slit that Debs has made to hold the card closed? Very clever!

Mixed Bunch

 Kim today with one of Jane's new stamps this one is called Mixed Bunch

Kim has stamped and embossed the image and then used a water-colour technique with dye inks to colour the image.

Kim has then cut away the white card to highlight the image. Kim has then layered the image on to coloured card to compliment the colours that she has used. The greeting is on the same stamp set.

Kim has added a touch of sparkle to finish the card off.

A wonderful bright and uplifting card to add a touch of sunshine to a birthday. Kim as usual has an extra card on her blog.

Deco Roses

Today we have a card from Gill

Gill has used the Clear Magic Deco Rose stamp designed by Francoise. Gill has stamped and coloured the roses and part of the bowl.

Gill has then added Glossy Accents which she has heated and created a crackle effect. Full details of how she managed this on her blog.

Gill has used a Chipboard frame and decorated it with Aged Silver Frantage powder.

Wire Roses

Today we have a very pretty card from Crafty Debs

Debs has made a very interesting round card with the Wire Roses Clear Magic Stamp from the Francoise Collection. Debs has used the Detail Gold embossing powder, the detail powder is a must if you a stamp with fine lines or a detailed stamp. The embossing acts as a resist so it pops through the colour.

Debs has lightly sponged some colour over the whole card, and has then added some spots of water to move the colour. Debs has then coloured the roses and leaves with Koi Brush Pens so that they stand out from the background.

The words included with the roses stamps. I love the way that Crafty Debs has made a flag for the words.

The dotty organza ribbon and the Mark Richards Rainbow Stones that Crafty Debs has added are a perfect finishing touch.

Shades of Blue Mixed Bunch

This week we are looking at Summer Birthdays and to start us off we have Jane the Flower Girl

Jane has used one of her brand new stamps (JGS473) Mixed Bunch

Jane has stamped in brown and embossed the image with clear powder, then coloured with Koi Brush Pens. Jane has added a touch of pointillism around the flowers.

the lace down the side is actually paper from the 8 x 8 pad Chambray and Lace. I love the contrast with the 15mm Natural Cotton Ribbon. The Best Wishes is from the same set.

This is a very bright and pretty card from Jane the Flower Girl sure to make the person who receives it smile!

You Are A Star!

Today we have a bright and happy card from Crafty Debs it is sure to motivate whoever receives it to have good luck great for someone sitting an exam or test.

Crafty Debs has used the Graffiti Star Clear Magic Stamp from the Francoise Collection.

Crafty Debs has used a mixture of Paper Piecing using  Perfect Prints 6 x 6 Pads and highlighting and shading with a grey Koi Brush Pen. Black Stickles have added a touch of sparkle

the Good Luck is again from the Just Words Collection from Woodware.

I love the sparkle-y Peel Off stars that Debs has added around the good luck.
