Cluster of Houses

For my card I have used the Clear Magic Three Houses designed by Jane Gill

yes it is just 3 houses, but I go a bit carried away. The card is 12 x 6 inches I used the black and white Textura Card.

I have paper pieced the houses with papers from the Perfect Prints 6 x 6 pad Lavender Mist.

then I fussy cut the houses, and inked the edges with a Blue Dye ink and a stencil brush.

then I inked the white layer and scuffed the edges with the Woodware scuffer.

then got  the sewing machine out and stitched it with wobbly stitches. On my machine I can vary the length of the stitch as a sew and it is fun to do that , and to make the lines wobble.

then I added the houses to the card

I attached them from either end so that the pale one in the middle stands out.

Floral Bunting

Who says bunting has to be flag shaped?

I have made some girlie bunting, but I have used Chippies for my bunting, I think that this would be good for a 21st birthday.

I have used the Handbag Chippies and stamped them with Jane's Clear Magic Ranunculus then water coloured them with inks.

These two have been stamped with the Stampendous Perfectly Clear Fronds set.

The 21 is the number chippies and I have

Coloured them with Mixed Media pigment ink in Wisteria and then Frantaged them with a mix of Chunky White powder and a selection of bits from my mix jar, with extra shaved ice!

I stamped the Ranunculus on card die cut with the Stampendous fitted frame dies. then coloured with the wisteria pad.

once I had finished I decided that the background had to be darker so that the numbers stood out so I coloured it all with a stencil brush.

I think that it looks effective layered on the green card.

I have edged all of the handbags with green ink.

The hardest part of the project was getting the ribbon to be the same length between the bags!

I have used a touch of double sided tape and jump ring I also knotted the ribbon so that it would not go through the jump ring.
