do you think Christmas when you think Shaker? Gill does
I know it is early for Christmas, but I am sure that some of you have started your cards already. Gill has used an old, but still available Francoise Collection stamp Christmas Trees.
The trees have been stamped in black and coloured.
Next Gill has made the box for the shaker part. The frame has been cut with a die. Gill has included a step by step to let you see how to tape your box on her blog, so pop over for full details. Gill has used a mixture of beads from her stash to fill the card.
The bit that I always find tricky about shaker cards is that the loose pieces get stuck on the tape at the bottom of the panel, so I think that Gill has been very clever in using the pattern on the paper to disguise any stuck pieces at the bottom of the panel.
I really like the way that Gill has created the shaker part in the centre of a square card, and used the same paper, which is an old Magenta one, which I think I have in my stash!
The beads that Gill has added make a really good finishing touch.
Don't forget that Gill has step by step on Gill's Crafty Journey.
