Why not Decoupage with your stamps?

This week on the Woodware blog we are looking at decoupage..
dd5
I have used Jane's Clear Magic House on The Hill stamp to create the decoupage.
dd1
I stamped it 5 times
dd3
Then coloured. I coloured the complete picture to get an idea of how it would look, but it is not necessary to colour the bits that you won't see.
dd2
You can see that I changed my mind twice about the colur of the roof.
dd4
In have used a mixture of Sakura colouring pencils and Tombow brush pens to colour the image.
dd7
For the snow I have used white Fluffy Stuff, I left it to dry over night before heating it. For the windows I coloured with the Sakura Clear Stardust pen.
dd6
The greeting is from Jane's Christmas Cheer Clear Magic set. I punched some snow flakes with the large green size punch, and embossed them with shabby white powder.
The corners have been punched with the corner rounder and the inverted corner punch.

Doodling Around

A touch of sun to brighten a rainy day!
1
The stamp is Doodle Daisies and the components are all separate, so that you can build your own flowers
5
I have stamped on coloured card and then used pale Tombow Dual Brush pens to change the colour of the card.
3
For the background I have stamped the small flower and embossed it with Sunny Yellow Powder.
4
The greeting is a Woodware Just Words stamp Time Decides. I really like the latest batch of Just Words stamps.
2
I then added Glossy Accents to the flowers and leaves to add some shine.

White Embossing and Card Candi

On the Woodware blog this week we are looking at White Embossing
4
I have used my favourite Bubble Bloom, I know that they are all lovely but I really like Jane's Curly Sue Clear Magic stamp
2
I have stamped and embossed with white powder then coloured in the leaves with Tombow Dual Brush Markers. When you have a coloured card, use a lighter coloured pen as the coloured card will darken the effect.
5
I then added Card Candi this is from the Christina pack, the colours were chosen by Jane. I have attached the Candi with 2mm mounting pads.
3
I have layered the card on some Hairy Manilla and embossed around the edge with the Stampendous Snow Spoonful Kit. The kits are a great way to use Frantage, the elements have all been mixed for you.
8
I have done a second card for you too, with the same stamp,
7
this time I have used  the Venetian Card Candi and Silicone Glue to attach the Candi, can you see my messy bit?
this card I have just layer on the Royal Blue Recycled card.
Now to show you how to do it properly.....

Touch of Sunshine

Today we have a very sunny card from Francoise
Francoise
Francoise has used her Clear Magic stamp Doodle Flower Arrangement
Francoise1
Francoise has coloured her image with Koi Brush Pens. The Gingham Card Candi is a lovely addition to the card, the scattering of Gold Metals and the punched hearts make this card one that you look at over and over and see different things time and again.
A lovely bright and cheery sunshine yellow card!

and then coloured it with brush pens, and added a touch of sparkle with the Sakura Clear Star pen.
1
then I used the small die from the Dreamweaver Nested Stocking Die.
3
I used a ColorBox watermark pad  to stamp some snowflakes on the card Textura Card.
4
I stamped the tree again and coloured and cut out the jolly the and punched out some funky stars.
9
Then topped them with Crystal Stickles.

Wall Hanging - The Mirror Crack'd

Woodware are a again sponsoring The Mirror Crack'd Blog this month the theme this time is a Wall Hanging
MirrorCrackd

So here is my first take on a wall hanging, I have used a frame, so I hope that this is okay

12

I have used the Clear Magic Doodle Flower Basket designed by Francoise Read.

1

I have stamped with Bark ColorBox Crafter's ink on Woodware's Mixed Media Card.

2

then I coloured in with Water Colour Pencils and a water brush.

3

next I stamped the image on  a piece of the Clear Scraps 12 x 12 Acrylic sheets with the Fudge Surfacez ink.

4

then coloured the back with Color Solutions in Winter Red and Lemoncello I just sponged them on the back and the added a touch of the

DSCF7087

the Acrylic sheets are easy to cut into the shape that you want and then you can heat them and manipulate them into the shape that you want, great to be able to make the flowers 3D.

6

next I coloured my picture frame with some Crafter's ink Sunshine.

7

and Fire

8

and then wiped it over with a Woodware Wipe to blend it in.

14

For the next step I used a Dutch Doobadoo Mask Art stencil this one is Fabric. The Dreamweaver Copper Embossing paste is a perfect colour to go with the rest of the hanging.

9

I have a slight smudge, but that is fine

 13

The flowers hide it! I love the way that the light goes through the acrylic flowers and reflects on the wall.
So why not play along?
You will find all of the info on The Mirror Crack'd Blog
