Woodware - Swirly Christmas

Here is a very quick card for you,
11
I have stamped on to paper from one of the Perfect Prints 6 x 6 pads the stamp is a Clear Magic designed by Jane Swirly Tree.
12
I stamped in a very dark blue ink and then stamped the Season's Greetings from Love Bauble from the Francoise Collection.
13
I have added some ric-rac ribbon down the side.
10
This one is also stamped on the Perfect Paper pad and this time a made it fold at the top and added some of the Distressed Cotton Ribbon at the top.

Woodware - Santa's Silly Jumper

Today for our sketch we have a very clever card from Crafty Debs
debs
Crafty Debs has used Santa's Silly Jumper a Clear magic stamp from the Francoise Collection. Francoise has been doing a bit of crocheting so it think that must have been her source of inspiration!
debs1
I love the stamp, but I love Debs choice of it for the sketch, it is perfect. Those cute little tabs have all been cut with a wobbly edge from the Santa image!
debs2
as for Santa he has been stamped in black and embossed with detail clear powder then coloured with Sakura Glaze Pens.  With added sparkle coming from Silver and Stardust Stickles.
The background papers are from the 6 X 6 Perfect Prints paper pads Fruit Stars & Bold Stars.
56
and here is a reminder of the sketch.

Woodware - The Holly and the Ivy

Here we have another take on this sketch
21
a very simple card
17
This Clear Magic stamp designed by Francoise is new this year The Holly & the Ivy Tag and has been coloured with brush pens, (takes quite some time) ink the stamp first with a Watermark pad so that is stays wet longer. I have layered it on to some dark green card.
19
I added the ribbon through the punched hole, and threaded on a bead to hold it without tying
18
I layered my tag on to paper from the 6 x 6 Perfect Prints Best Gifts of All pad.
20
For my flag bits at the bottom I wanted to use holly and this is a lovely holly stamp from a very very old set also designed by Francoise Wired For Christmas
22
Then I added my holly which I have embossed with a mix of copper and Seasonings one of the fantastic Stampendous Frantage powders.
56
and to finish a reminder of the sketch

Woodware - Rudolf by Jane Gill

Jane the Flower Girl is centre stage today with her take on this sketch
jane
Jane has used Rudolf one of her Clear Magic stamps from 2015.
jane1
Jane has used the Pointillist technique to colour him in. One of her favourites, and really very effective. Jane has used 4 shades of brown pen use the lightest colour first and colour Rudolf all over. Then just add lots of dots in the darker shades. Jane has then added a grey line under Rudolf's chin to create a shadow effect and making him dimensional.
jane2
Jane has used die cut letters to make the flags at the bottom of the sketch. The Dreamwever Dual Alphabet dies would be perfect for this. Jane has cut rectangles in different sizes to match the letters and then layered them on some red card.
56
This is a great card from Jane the Flower Girl and a great take on the sketch.

Woodware - Snowman Bauble

10
Meet the Large Snowman Bauble from the Francoise Collection.
11
I have just stamped him in black and cut him at a slightly jaunty angle. He has been layer on some of the Amethyst Recycled Card.
13
I stamped twice more and cut out the scarf,  the carrot nose and the hat. I have coloured with Sakura Koi Brush Pens.
15
I punched out the snowflakes and covered them with Stickles, and I then used Stickles as the glue, the fine nib makes it easy to apply and if it squeezes out from underneath it is pretty!
12
I punched the green tag and the mini heart and star, I coloured the card before punching so that it was the same colour as the rest of the card.
14
I punched the Contemporary Tartan tags and attached them so they look as if they are swinging.
This is the sketch that was the inspiration.

Touch of Christmas Tartan

Touch of tartan...
debs
Crafty Debs has used the Francoise Collection Clear Magic Noel Tags.
The card is 6 x 6 and Debs has turned it into an easel card, I love these cards as they look very complicated and are so simple to do, it is only one score line!
Crafty Debs has stamped and embossed in silver on black card. Then layered on some silver mirror card, sorry the photograph doesn't show the silver very well.
debs2
It is a great stamp, one of those that you can do a little too it or it can be paper pieced or coloured or decoupaged or....
debs1
For the stop bar of the easel card, Debs has stamped the Francoise Collection Santa Post Elements on a punched circle. The circle has been layered over the tartan paper using a foam pad to add height, and form the stop.
Debs has stamped the Noel Tag stamp in black on the inside of the card.

More The Francoise Collection - Christmas Graffiti

Sometime these are my favourite cards, when you have bits lying about because you have not tidied up before starting again, or is that just me?
27
When I was doing the post for Mens Christmas cards I had the Graffiti Christmas printed and just lying there. When I cut my Dreamweaver Nested Stockings for my Sketch post I had some extra stockings cut!
24
I just added a row of brads to hang my stockings and I rather like this card too.
23
I have added holly leaves to this one the leaves come from a very very old stamp set from the Franocise Collection Wired For Christmas.
26
This I think is my favourite with the none traditional feel of the colour it is fun and I do live those mini light bulbs from Woodware.
22
This on is just a funny shape, and I had not used my Tag Top Punch for a least a week!
21
Hope you like my cards with extra bits today!

The Francoise Collection - Christmas Graffiti

Graffiti at Christmas who would have thought it?
18
I have used Graffiti Christmas a Clear Magic stamp from the Francoise Collection.
10
I have stamped on the Woodware Hairy Manila card.
11
I coloured with Sakura Brush pens I have used the Burgundy and the Sap Green.
12
I used my Sakura Gelly Roll in Clear Star to add a touch of sparkle
16
I used the same colours of pens to make a wishy washy background on my card. I sprayed water on the card and scribbled my pens on my hot stuff mat and then picked the colour up with a wet paint brush.
13
I have used my trusty Woodware scruffer around the edges.
17
The paper comes from the 8 x 8 Tartan Pad.

Black and White Christmas

A very simple black and white Christmas card
This would be a good male card, because of the simple black and white theme.
I started with the background and used a very dirty Watermark Pad from ClearSnap and a Jumbo Dauber.
around the edge a page of black and white from the 8 x 8 Tartan Pad and embossed it in silver. Then I distressed the edges with the Woodware Scruffer.
I usually use the scruffer before I emboss but this time I did it after to give a contrast.
I have used one of the stamps from the Jane Gill set Christmas Cheer that has five thoughtful Christmas verses. The card is the Black Textura 12 x 12 and I have used the Tag Top Punch, I really don't know what I did before I had these punches.
I have used the Stampendous Spoonful of Snow embossing powder kit on a snowflake brad.
A very simple and fast card that you could do in any colour of tartan if you don't think black and white are Christmasy.
