Ghostly Stamping

Kim today with a spring card
Kim1
Kim has used Jane's Summer Weeds Clear Magic stamp.
Kim started by stamping and embossing on white water colour card. Then coloured over the top with dye inks, then wiped off the stamp and then spritzed the card with water.
Kim2
Then Kim has stamped into the background to give a ghosted stamping in the background.

Spring is Blooming...

Snow is lying on the ground as I write this, so a touch of spring on the internet is very welcome, and Crafty Debs has put a smile on my face with this card.
Debs
Crafty Debs has used the Whimsical Flower - Sally Anne Clear Magic Stamp, this stamp has been popping up all over the place, and it is not a surprise that Crafty Debs our award winning gardener not only likes this stamp but like spring time.
Crafty Debs has used paper piecing on the stamp. First stamp the image on several patterned papers then cut the image up. I like the technique because it is a great way to make multiple cards that are the same but different!
Debs2
The vellum butterflies are fluttering around the card, they have been sparkled up with Stardust Stickles. The Happy Easter is a Just For Words Tiddler stamp.
Crafty Debs has lots of interesting cards on her blog this week so pop over for a look.
Remember Easter is early this year so get stamping....

Jane's gone Loopy

Jane the Flower Girl today with her Loopy Flowers Clear Magic stamps.
Jane
Jane has stamped with black pigment ink and then embossed with clear powder. Jane has then inked over the top, very fast to do, just cover the card with dye ink colour and wipe off from the embossing. The words come from the other new stamp set Dotty Flowers
Jane1
Jane the Flower Girl has then used some bleach to take the colour out, then added back some colour to highlight areas.

So delicate!

Gill today with her version of resist.
Gill
Gill has used Jane's Floral Vine Clear Magic stamp stamped with a watermark pad and coloured with Chalks
Gill1
In the close up you can see that Gill has chalked with a blending sponge carefully choosing her colours and only blending them together slightly. The chalk has turned the embossing vibrant. The pearls make it pop even more.
I love the ribbon with the fancy bow!
Gill has supplied full details of sizes and papers on Gill's Crafty Journey, so pop over to get the sizes etc.

Clear Scraps Resist

On the Woodware Blog this week we are looking at resist techniques.
8
I found this on Clear Scraps You Tube and it is so simple.

Thanks Susan!
2
I coloured a 6 x 6 piece of Clear Scraps 12 x 12 acrylic sheets, covered it with Dreamweaver Color Solutions Alcohol Inks then used the the ColorBox Wicked Black ink pad to stamp Francoise's Turned Twenty One stamp, then wiped it off with an old tea towel.
1
I stamped May All Your Dreams Just For Words and embossed it in black. I have used the Paper Scruffer to rough up the edges.
3
on the inside of the card I have stamped and embossed the 21 in black so that it was a strong image showing through.
7
I positioned it slightly off set.

Woodware Resisit - Good use of an iron?

Good thing about using your iron for crafting, if you leave it out, someone might think it was out for clothes!
Kim is really making me feel a bit behind with my crafting, as this week she has another Christmas card!
Kim
The stamps are Under the Mistletoe
Kim1
and Festive Verses, both designed by Jane Gill.
Kim2
To make her resist Kim has stamped and embossed with clear powder, and then ironed off the embossing, this gives a patchy or should I say distressed look once the ink has been added over the top.

Why not pop over to see what else Kim has been up to this week, thanks for visiting see you soon!

Woodware - How Do You Resist?

Today we have a card from Crafty Debs with a very different take on Jane's stamp design.
Debs

Crafty Debs has used Jane Gill's Clear Magic Dotty Flowers, I rather like these flowers. Crafty Debs has made a twisted easel card which is so simple but will always impress!

Big Thank You

We have a big thank you and a touch of masking!

4
I have used two of Francoise's new Clear Magic stamps the Graffiti Thank You and the Patch Tulip.

I made a very lazy mask
can you see my mistake

3
I coloured the image with Koi Brush Pens and the Blender Pen, which worked really well on the Woodware Mixed Media Card I then used the Clear Stardust Pen to sparkle up some of the small areas, mess free sparkle!

You will find more details on the Woodware Blog in it's new home.

Dotty Flowers from Kim

We have Kim today with a lovely card using one of Jane's new stamps.
Kim
Kim has used the Dotty Flowers Clear Magic stamp designed by Jane Gill.
Kim2
Kim first punched a Mortise Mask from the Woodware Mask-it Sheet. Then sponged with dye ink, then sprinkled some drops of water on the colouring, dab with some kitchen towel to take off the excess water. The image was then stamped and embossed on top.
JGS436
you may have noticed a black edge,  Kim made this one for the Woodware Catalogue, but she is a good girl, so made another one where she stamped straight on the card!

Woodware - Wire Roses from the Françoise Collection

Today we have a one layer card from Crafty Debs, Debs has been clever in the way that she has interpreted her layer.
Debs
Crafty Debs has used the Wire Roses, a Clear Magic stamp from Francoise Read, this is one of Francoise's popular tall stamps that are ideal for tall cards, and that is what Debs has done here.

Debs1
Here is another card that Crafty Debs has made with the same technique and stamps.
The greetings are all from the Wire Roses stamp.
This is why I love stamps two cards that look so different from one stamp!
Crafty Debs has some other lovely cards on her blog this week so pop over for a look.
